This is what transformed the supply-driven need to a demand-driven one.
The consumers of the healthcare ecosystem now look at not just the health benefits but also the comfort and customer service they get from the providers. This is from the end to end process they will experience starting from the time they reached out to the provider until after the delivery of the service they availed. The reputation of the providers now is no longer restrained to whether their treatments work or not for their patients are now empowered to strike a balance between comfort and science. Truth be told, more and more customers are still giving a positive review on healthcare providers for the type of comfort and customer service they exert regardless if the treatment worked or not (especially on illnesses that are already considered fatal from the get-go).
Other industries struggle to get a good audience and eventually traffic to their sites and the services they offer. This is not the case for medical SEOs. Customers find on the internet what they need as opposed to what they want. Most of the time, medical needs are still a priority. While it is true that patients find the healthcare they need, it is in the hands of the healthcare provider and the SEO company they hire to step up their game to win against others.
